| Comments: | Found the website full of nostalgia, recognised the names of teachers and some of the pupils. Disappointed at the lack of information on the 60s, we cant leave the archives to the 70s pupils, lets retrieve some information from our decade. I attended Crossley Street School from 62 to 66. Left Wetherby in 1971, but still have contact with the town. Now living in Cambridge. May McCarlie (now Dickson) 1962-1966 |

| Comments: | Steve, yes I do remember those footy tournaments on the tennis courts, in particular the one where Big Jack presented the trophy, because it was around the time that Leeds had lost a cup match to Colchester, something that no one would have thought possible, ( I remember it particulary upset Meesh Marshall).......... anyway, I recall Big Jack took a little bit of a ribbing, but took it all in good faith. |

Right - can you remember you lot being in the bar of the Rollerena and I followed Ken Dempsey in and you all told the bloke at the bar I was under age to get rid of me, I don't know if you got served but I had to get out. Also can you remember some of these names from those days: Stevie Paul, Flaggy Paul, Ross Wilson, Freddie [from the stables]. I can remember working with Linda at the Riverside in the winter and a few of the Wetherby lot going for a swim in the freezing cold. I am not sure if the water wasn't icy.
