Canada House wins Modern School Trophy

CANADA house gained a sweeping victory in the Wetherby Secondary Modern School inter-house sports day on Tuesday.

Totalling 90 points, they finished 21 points ahead of South Africa who were second. Australia were third with 67½ points and Malta, who were last year's winners of the sports trophy, were last with 61.
The trophy was presented by Mr. W. Dibb, who was headmaster of the school for 31 years until his retirement in 1953.
