…I remember using the pool in Wood Hall (nr Linton) in 1968 when I was at St James and all of us singing Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da (?) on the coach on the way. It wasn't "Desmond and Molly Jones" though, it was "Gary Earle and Sarah Shaw". The instructor was a robust old girl with wire hair, if I recall rightly.
