Date Unknown but it looks late 60's or early 70's - anyone know differently? Anyone recognise anybody pictured??
The calligraphy looks like the work of Barry Sellers. Was the purpose of such a card to drum up funds for the school ? Other fundraising chicanery - Tuck Shop, Sponsored walk 10 or 15 miles c 1973 (proceeds to a school minibus) and the 3-a side knockout football competitions at lunchtimes in the main tennis courts, c 1970-72 (admission was 2p I think). The final played in front of a huge crowd and the trophy presented by Leeds players - Charlton one year and Clarke another - anyone remember anything else about this?
