"It should be noted for posterity that this XI, under the stewardship of Ray (Chalkie) Milner, won the Pudsey Advertiser Trophy (dating back to pre WW1) in a scintillating clash at the TV Harrison sports ground in Halton (near to the Brown Cow Pub!!), during which Chalkie cleared a good 40 Regal King Size, it was that tense!!" - Stuart Black |
